Art Photographed

Black+White Photography ● Salon submission ● 1-Mar-2025

In this selection of black and white photographs I wanted to explore the connection between art, architecture and the spaces they live in. Stripping away colour let me focus on texture, contrast and form, hopefully bringing out details of each individual scene that might otherwise have gone unnoticed. From a bold open-air memorial and intricate sculpture, to immersive installations, striking museum architecture and spontaneous music performances, I love capturing how art interacts with its surroundings and the people that observe it. Whether in a historic building, a gallery or a museum, I hope these images highlight the way art shapes our world—and how we experience it in return. The main aim I hope I have achieved, was to strip each scene back to its essence, focusing on the raw energy and presence of art in everyday life.
